FYP Version 4.10

Beginning on November 1, 2012, we will be rolling out a new version of FYP.  This update affects all Hawk version of FYP (non old-time photo) and should be completed by November 8, 2012.  Features and bug fixes include:

Resolved: Uploader Disruption / Customer FYP Site Disruption

We are currently experiencing issue saving uploaded files to FYP accounts.  Related to this issue, users will be unable to add items to their shopping cart during this outage.  However, users should still be able to view and share their pictures.  We do apologize for this inconvenience.

Our technicians are investigating the problem and we will update our progress on this blog.  Please contact customer support at (858) 683-1560 with any questions or concerns.

Update 5:49 PM Pacific: Our file storage service provider is experiencing issues.  They are working to resolve the issue, but do not yet have an ETA on when the issue will be resolved. During this time, your uploaders may display an Invalid Response (401) error.

Update 6:28 PM Pacific: We are continuing to work on resolving this issue. Currently, we estimate that the issue should be resolved within the next few hours.   Thank you for your patience.

Update 6:59 PM Pacific: Images are now uploading to our servers.  However, we are still waiting on confirmation that the issue has been resolved.

Update 7:14 PM Pacific: All services appear to be operating normally.  Please contact customer support if you continue to experience any issues.

FYP Upload Issues: Resolved

We are currently experiencing connectivity issues with our servers that handle uploads for FindYourPictures. The issue is related to a faulty router, and backup router should be in place shortly. Maintenance is also schedule for this evening to resolve the issue. We will update this blog as we have more information. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Consumer facing sites should not be affected during this outage.

Update 10:12 AM PDT: Some connectivity has been restored; however, some uploaders may experience intermittent issues.

Update 5:00 PM PDT: All services appear to be operating normally.

Intermittent Issues for Uploads: Resolved

One of our servers that handle uploads is experience connectivity issues. We are currently working to resolve the situation as soon as possible.

All consumer sites appear to be unaffected.

Update: Service has been fully restored as of 5:07 PM Pacific Time.

Database Issues

We are currently experiencing issues with our database server. We expect it to be back up and running within the next 30 minutes.

Update: 8:09 AM Pacific: All servers are operating normally. Consumer FYP sites should finish updating shortly. We will provide a summary of the events shortly.

Update 1:00 PM Pacific: We experienced some connection issues related to DNS records. Certain records relating to database connections were not updated correctly during a scheduled maintenance window. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Transition to FYP4

We are transitioning all customers on FYP 2 or FYP 3 to FYP4. Some customers may experience a few minutes of downtime as sites are switched to the new service. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Our transition is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, February 14th. We will provide updates as the transition progresses. Please contact customer support at (858) 683-1560 with any questions or concerns.

Update 9:53 AM Feb. 11: We are updating our admin site and should be finished by 10:30 AM.

Update 10:17 AM Feb. 11: We have completed updating our admin site.

Update 1:38 PM Feb. 11: All FYP photographer sites have been transitioned to FYP4.

We are currently updating our admin site. We expect to compete the update by 12:00 PM Pacific Time.
